قُلْأَعُوذُبِرَبِّٱلنَّاسِ١

Say, "I seek refuge in the Lord of mankind,

مَلِكِٱلنَّاسِ٢

The Sovereign of mankind,

إِلَـٰهِٱلنَّاسِ٣

The God of mankind,

مِنشَرِّٱلْوَسْوَاسِٱلْخَنَّاسِ٤

From the evil of the retreating whisperer¹ -

ٱلَّذِىيُوَسْوِسُفِىصُدُورِٱلنَّاسِ٥

Who whispers [evil] into the breasts of mankind -

مِنَٱلْجِنَّةِوَٱلنَّاسِ٦

From among the jinn and mankind".¹
